Domaine Ferret is one of the historic estates of the Mâconnais, located in the heart of Fuissé. Founded in 1840, the domaine was a pioneer in estate bottling at a time when the region was dominated by négociants. For more than 40 years it was run by Colette Ferret, who shaped a precise, mineral style of Chardonnay.
Since 2008 it has belonged to Maison Louis Jadot, under the winemaking direction of Audrey Braccini, who has preserved the original philosophy: plot-by-plot vinification, barrel fermentations, and extended ageing on lees. The domaine’s 18 hectares are spread across Pouilly-Fuissé, Fuissé and Chaintré, with limestone soils that bring tension and depth.
Ferret is now a model of balance between feminine tradition and Burgundian modernity.
