Château des Jacques, owned by Maison Louis Jadot since 1996, is located in Moulin-à-Vent in the northern Beaujolais. The château and its vineyards date back to the 18th century, with 88 hectares of Gamay planted on granite and manganese-rich soils. Technical director Cyril Chirouze has driven organic viticulture, controlled yields, and Burgundian-style vinifications—partial whole-cluster fermentation and long barrel ageing—bringing uncommon structure and longevity to Beaujolais.

The result is wines of texture, tension, and depth that bridge the character of Gamay with the finesse of the Côte d’Or.
