/Región/ Northern Rhône – Condrieu, Côte-Rôtie, Saint-Joseph, Saint-Péray, Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas /Varieties/ Viognier, Syrah, Marsanne, Roussanne and other Northern Rhône varieties /Year of foundation/Family estate; Yves took over in 1987
The Cuilleron family has been growing vines in Chavanay since the early 20th century, but it was in 1987 that Yves, the fourth generation, took charge of the small 3.5-hectare domaine in Condrieu and Saint-Joseph. Over time, he expanded the estate to about 90 hectares across six Northern Rhône AOCs (Condrieu, Côte-Rôtie, Saint-Joseph, Saint-Péray, Crozes-Hermitage, and Cornas), as well as producing IGP and Vin de France wines.
The vineyard is in organic conversion and managed plot by plot.
His Condrieu and his Syrahs from Côte-Rôtie and Saint-Joseph are defined by pure fruit, enveloping textures, and great precision, making Cuilleron one of the leading names in the contemporary Northern Rhône.
